Manitowoc Ice Styles
Manitowoc has ice makers that create different types or styles of ice.
Full Dice Cube - Traditional Cube shape with relatively equal height, width, and depth.
Half Dice Cube - Half of a cube, shaped like a pat of butter. Smaller size means more ice less liquid per glass - perfect for beverage dispensing.
Octagon Ice - Large, formed ice, shaped like a small shotglass. Crystal clear, formed by eliminating air during the freezing process. Adds elegant touch to fine dining.
Flake Ice - Looks like small chips of ice. Softer and chewable, can be shaped and packed. Appropriate for food displays. Ideal for healthcare applications.
Cubelet Ice - Smaller, irregular rounded cube. Chewable, ideal for dispensing and for healthcare applications. Nugget countertop units produce this ice.
Nugget Ice - Small, cylindrical "bullet" shaped ice. Somewhat uniform in shape. Modular units produce this type of nugget.
